I’ll need a late pass on this, but this is the first instance I’ve seen this video online. I doubt anybody saw the New York edition of that Streets series on Fuse or Fox Sports Net, or whatever they broadcasted it on, and I hope to god that nobody who visits this site paid $19.99 to buy it. Somebody put a TV rip of it online though, and it’s the first time I’ve ever seen it myself. For the most part, it sucks, granted that it is composed of 75% recycled footage and 25% throwaway, so its nothing to really get excited about. Unless of course, you aren’t from New York and want to hear how dangerous it is to skate Brooklyn. (Skating quick-creted barriers in Greenpoint is hella trife fool!) But if you want to kill a half hour, it’s worth a watch. Pooky does offer some very insightful commentary though.

And perhaps MOST importantly: Pre-teen arrested for rock throwing at Soulja Boy tour bus…

A 12 year-old boy was taken into custody Wednesday night for throwing a rock through the windshield of Soulja Boy’s bus. Why? The kid told arresting officers, “I hate Soulja Boy.”

Yahh, bitch. Yahh!

In the past two weeks, there has been a massive influx of blogs by people in New York who somehow or other connect to skateboarding, except the content of each blog tends to focus on the non-skateboarding aspects of our activities (which is understandable, seeing as how it’s 33 degrees out every day and everyone seemed to forget that there are spots that aren’t on 12th Street and First Avenue). Bear in mind, that I am imposing a very strict boycott of filming at 12th and A for the duration of it’s existence (I’m assuming some idiot, most likely from the Bronx, will ruin it for everybody before the end of March), so Quarter Snacks may be your only safe haven from the oncoming onslaught of plastic bench footage from everyone.
