Here’s some things that have stood out on the internet over the past few days. Just some things to get through the rainy weekend… which I’m sure will be spent skating indoor…bars..
Ted Barrow interviewed Shane Bovell on his blog about some wonderful, back in the day, New York nostalgia. Features all the hallmarks of early-to-mid 90s skateboarding in New York: the Banks, board jackings, Kyle James, getting sawed offs pulled on you, etc.
Staying on the topic off olden day New York skateboarding, 48 Blocks has a Steve Rodriguez interview up.
Here’s a few alternate cuts of some parts from Lurkers 2 that I found floating around on Youtube: Dharam Khalsa, Ted Barrow, Alternate friends montage and Billy Rohan.
There are some more photos from the premieres last weekend just in case you haven’t had enough, here and here.
Guy Mariano x The Geto Boys (Old one, but a good one).
God Invented Crack
And finally, in preparation for this much anticipated November 7th, Crank dat Killa Cam. (It’s only right).
