avenue i bowl

If you're not ready to step up to actual transition skating, or are just looking for a fun spot to mess around at, this is a worthwhile place to make a trip out to, granted that you're not looking to get crazy footage for your top secret video part. The bowl itself is an odd structure that is in the front garden of a tenement building. It goes from being about two feet deep until it dips into deeper points, reaching its deepest point at about four feet into the ground. There is no lip or anything like that for stalls on the top, so it best serves it's purpose as a bank or just something to carve around in.

Regardless of the time you come here, it usually takes about forty minutes for the people to complain and have the janitor or landlord from the building come out to tell you to leave.

16th Street and Avenue I in Brooklyn. You're on your own as far as subway directions go.
