columbus park
chinatown
In the middle of all the Chinese children playing basketball and wearing 5XL white tees, here you'll find a four-foot long, foot-and-a-half foot high painted concrete ledge which kinks down a two stair. Typically, this will wind up needing wax because the paint wears off quickly, and it isn't a very popular spot to begin with. It's on the side of the basketball court so you generally don't have to worry about rolling into the middle of a game and crashing into somebody. There's also an average height eight stair round rail from the sidewalk into the basketball court. There's a crack before it, but nothing a small piece of wood or a sign couldn't fix.

Very rarely, the Parks Department will tell you to leave, but chances are, you can stay here for however long you want. There is absolutely no light here, so nighttime sessions are out.

Mulberry and Worth Street. Take the 4, 5, 6, J, M or Z to City Hall-Brooklyn Bridge, and skate down Park Row until you reach Centre Street. Make a right on Centre and skate East for about four blocks. The park should be on your left.
