water street benches
wall street area
As you probably figured out, this spot is skatestopped. Although it does not exist in original form, the knobs are positioned in a way that you can skate the last four feet of every bench, since there are none at the ends. The benches are rather high, at least when compared to your average Manhattan bench spot. The ground is decent, although the tiles do have rather big spaces between them if youíre trying to gather up speed for a line or something of the sort. Otherwise, thereís also a manual pad thatís a curb up, and a two stair down if you approach it at the correct angle from the street. The space between the curb and the two-step is about ten feet.

Use your common sense and donít come here during working hours. At night, or on the weekend, you can typically skate here for as long as you want if you skate the southernmost benches.

Pine Street and Water Street. Take the 1 to Wall Street and skate south to Water Street. Make a left and skate north for several blocks to Pine Street.
