In the front of this building, you'll find a series of steps that ranges from a one stair all the way up to ten. The key problem is that this entire region spans across a giant glass security window, so your chances of skating it are limited, if not close to impossible. To the side, there is a fat ten stair rail that is backside for regular footed people/frontside for goofy. Below, in an area far from the view of the security window, you'll find a series of curved ledges/manual pads only suitable for slide tricks with the right amount of wax. Leading out of that plaza, you'll find a series of rails going down sets of five and seven, that are approachable from the sides, making it possible to hit them at a much lower point. You could only do board/lipslides on them due to the thickness of all the rails.

If you skate the steps in front or the ten-stair rail, chances are you'll get kicked out very quickly, unless you're lucky. If you skate the other portion of the spot, the guards can't see you, so there is a very good chance you may not get kicked out at all, unless you're unlucky and the guard happens to go outside and spots/hears you.

40th Street and Park Avenue. Take the 4, 5, 6 or 7 to 42nd Street-Grand Central, skate north on Park Avenue for three blocks and it is on the eastern side of the street.
