37th street double-set
first avenue
This spot is hardly worth a mention, but perhaps if you're looking for a double set outside of the Times Square one and Jacob Javitz Center, there's a place to turn to. This set is a solid three-flat-five, composed out of fairly large-sized steps and a three-and-a-half-foot long piece of flat in between the steps. The runway is long enough and on smooth bricks, but the landing is only about fifteen feet long before you crash into a fence. Also, at the top of the steps, in front of the deli, there's a five set.

It's fairly unpredictable in regards to how quick you're going to get. Typically, odds are against you, because you only get about five-ten minutes worth of tries before the guard comes out. Avoid the security window and don't hang out at the bottom of the steps because it' easier for them to spot you. It's best at night, but your chances aren't great at either time.

37th Street and First Avenue. Take the 6 to 33rd Street, skate east for four blocks and make a left on First Avenue. Skate up to 37th and it's in front of a high-rise.
