east river benches
fdr drive
If anything, this is a last resort spot. There are loads of better ledge spots in Midtown worth your time. But, if you've been kicked out of everywhere or everything else is too crowded, you can always come here and avoid any of the annoyances you're bound to find throughout the rest of the city. Here there are five marble benches, each of which are about six feet long, and a little over a foot in height. They are all generally positioned poorly, making it necessary to pop out of most of your tricks. There are only two sides with which you can work a trick off the end. Even then, you'll have to dodge a lamppost after landing. The ground here is pretty smooth brick, but the spot itself is cramped, so it's best to avoid coming here with a lot of people.

You will not get kicked out of here.

37th Street and the East River. Take the 4 or 5 to 33rd Street, skate north until you reach 37th, make a right and skate south until you reach the East River.
