Hooters Rail
seventh avenue
This is hardly a "have fun" session-type of spot ‚ itís more like the New York version of a productive footage spot if youíre looking to jump down something few people care to try. The double-set is a four-flat-four, with a pretty good runway and a sidewalk landing. The rail runs alongside a wall, and is frontside for regular / backside for goofy, made out of recycled plastic with pretty sharp kinks. On the eastern side of the building, thereís several sets of sixes and sevens, with a diesel double-rail that is steep, but low enough to do tricks over if you have the pop for it. Alongside the 7th Avenue side of the building, leading into an underground parking garage, there are several banks with curbs at the bottom of them that can be ollied onto and wallrid. They go downhill, so you pick up speed quickly.

This is a nighttime spot, preferably when the restaurant is closed.

On 56th Street, between 8th Avenue and 7th Avenue. Take the N or R to 57th Street, skate west for one and a half blocks, make a left on 7th Avenue, skate south for one block, and make a right on 56th Street.
