This is where you'll find the famous three-flat-three double set. The runway for it is absolutely perfect, as is the landing, although you need to plan out where you're skating to ensure that you're not going to crash into one of the concrete blocks at the bottom. All around the double set are various sets of three sets, which can be skated as a three-up, three-down, manual pads, etc. Also in the plaza is a smooth, curved concrete bench around a tree, and a few other black granite ledges in front of the spot. Across the street is another rather well-known New York gap. Off a narrow concrete runway, you ollie over two feet of space and another three feet of a concrete block down a five foot drop.

There may be people here on Saturdays or Sundays when there is something going on across the street at the convention center, but otherwise, this place is usually empty (aside from the occasional crack fiend) at any time, with no security guards bothering you.

36th Street and 11th Avenue. Take the A, C or E to 34th Street and skate west for three avenues. Make a right on 11th and skate up to 36th Street.
