marriot banks
times square
This is hardly a spot in the traditional sense. It's a series of very steep quarterpipe-like banks running as borders around hills leading into an in-ground parking garage for the hotel. There's only about two feet of transition at the bottom, followed by about three additional feet of a vertical wall. Some of them curve, some curve outwardly, etc. They all have a huge, thick metal rail on the top. Some of them have been skate-stopped, but others haven't.

This spot is in Times Square, so you could already assume how traffic-heavy it would be with tourists just walking around and those unloading their crap to get into the hotel. There are usually cops around, so they'll tell you to leave 4/5 times if they see you skating. But it's really hit or miss, depending on whether or not they see you or not. If you go late night, when Times Square is virtually dead, you'll probably be able to skate it a lot easier.

47th Street in between Seventh Avenue and 8th Avenue. Take the A, C, E to 42nd Street, skate north on 8th avenue for five blocks and make a right on 47th, it is towards the end of the block.
