up-rails
westside highway
This is far and away the most dangerous spot in the city. Within the first week of its discovery, it put three people out of commission. There are three rails here -- all exactly the same, minus the way you could approach them from. Heading south, there are two rails spaced apart about thirty feet from each other, with another rail going downwards another fifty feet down the strip. They start from the ground and gradually ascend to be about three-feet high. They are all around six inches in width, and approachable from either side. You could also skate the flat part if you have the pop for it. All the ground here is smooth asphalt although you can occasionally run into some pebbles here and there.

You won't get kicked out of here.

Between 34th and 38th Streets and The Westside Highway (there are no number streets in between). Take the A, C or E to 34th Street and skate west until you reach The Westside Highway. Cross the street and skate north alongside the bike track for two or three blocks.
