cliffside park
Note that this spot is technically for the plaza across the street from the High School. Altogether, like most other spots in the area, this one is way past its prime. It was destroyed by bikers several years ago, making most of the ledges completely obsolete, except a couple of the curved ones that you still may be able to wax up enough for a slide trick. The stairs are really the only worthwhile obstacles here. There are sets of fives, a set of four and a nine, all of which contain ample runway and landing. The five and the nine could be skated one after the other. Across the street from this park is another brick-embroidered plaza with infinite amounts of consecutive steps, all with generous runways and landings. There's basically all types of steps from fours to twelves, all after one another.

The kick outs here are completely random, but less likely on the weekends. Given that this is your typical suburban town with cops that don't have any "real" worries like certain places a few miles east or south, you should avoid them because you never know when they want to turn you skateboarding into a big deal.

Edgewater Road and Palisades Avenue in Cliffside Park, New Jersey. The 159 NJ Transit bus goes straight here, but otherwise, you're going to need a car to get out here.
