ferry banks
weehawken
If you're keeping an eye out, thereís a lot of junk to skate on the road that this spot is on, but this is clearly the most visible and also the most noteworthy of the bunch. There are two dual banks that ascend in height as you roll down a minor slope. They can be skated on, into or as a hip from either end, although youíll probably have to ollie into one to gather up speed for the other. There is also a variety of straight on banks that you can do tricks into and proceed down a curb into the street at the bottom. There are pebbles lying around at the bottom of the banks a lot of the time, especially after heavy rains, so you may have to brush them aside before skating.

This spot is best on the weekends when the parking lot is not full. There are residences nearby, so itís not the best place to go at night.

River Road in Weehawken, about a half mile from the Lincoln Tunnel. It is at the NY Waterway Ferry Terminal, at the southernmost end.
