95th street rail
upper west side
While most of the better rails in Manhattan are uptown, they are far from perfect. The seven stair rail at this spot isnít on the greatest ground, been its manageable if youíre accustomed to typical-New York handrail approaches. The rail itself is at a good height, round, and with a smooth landing, although it rests on a minor slope. Otherwise this spot also has sets of three, four and five, in addition to a narrow handicap ramp launch that you can skate if the pizza place that its apart of is closed.

Itís better to come here during the day because the people in the building complain less, but your chances of getting kicked out arenít too high to begin with.

95th Street and Columbus. Take the 1, 2 or 3 to 96th Street, and skate east on 96th until you hit Columbus Avenue. Then skate south for one block.
