metropolitan museum
central park east
This is more of a "back in the day" spot that really isn't frequented anymore, although it still manages to be one of the best stair sets in Manhattan. It is bigger than your average eight set, but the size is made up for by the absolutely flawless runway and landing that you have for it. Probably the best eight set you could find if you're trying to get a trick on one and don't want to get kicked out.

It is impossible to skate here during the day, but you can skate here all night if you wanted to if you happen to show up after 9 P.M. when the museum is closed and all the tourists in front have left. Just make sure you bring a light if you're trying to film.

84th Street and Central Park East. Take the 4, 5 or 6 to 86th Street, skate south for two blocks, make a right on 84th and skate East until 84th Street runs into Central Park East.
