morningside school
west harlem
On the Broadway side of the school there are a couple of round handrails down sets of five and six, with minimal runway, but enough to enable you to gather speed and hit the rail. The rails in front, and all the rails at this spot for that manner are pretty low, and are connected by a narrow bank in between each set. On the Morningside Drive side of the building there is an over-sized three set, equivalent to an average five, with a platform up top that you could use as a manual pad. To the side is a similar set-up of handrails, except down sets of five and four. Although it is not easily visible in the picture, next to the handrails is a gap over a rock equal to a five set. If you go across the street, here is an obscure-type obstacle where you must ride off a platform, ollie over a foot-high rail, over a three-foot gap, onto a handicap ramp perpendicular to the ledge you're riding on.

If you go here on any day after 4 P.M. or on the weekend, you won't get kicked out.

123rd Street and Amsterdam Avenue. Take the 1 or 9 to 125th Street, skate south for two blocks, make a left on 123rd and skate east for one block.
