riverbank park
west harlem
Given that this is one of the most sought after spots for stupid people who are unaware of places to skate above Midtown, it's only appropriate to list it here. Throughout this entire park, is a series of brick banks, all of different heights, steepness levels, positioning, etc. Several of them have concrete lips at the top that are waxed, and if you're Aaron Suski, you could set up a picnic table above it and do stall tricks on that. The ground here is pretty rough, but manageable. You just need to push faster in order to gather speed.

Just avoid running into Parks Department people here and you won't get kicked out. Normally, they don't care, but several of them will actually kick you out.

137th Street and the Hudson River. Take the 1 or 9 to 137th and skate all the way west on 137th until you reach a bridge that leads you into Riverbank Park.
