williamsburg bridge park

williamsburg

The standout obstacle of the spot is a backside round rail going off of three stairs -- approximately knee high from the top of the steps. You have to ollie a preceding three stair before you hit it though. There's also a big three formed out of marble curbs under a statue. All the ledges [or curbs, unless you consider six inch high marble slabs ledges], are waxed well. From the statue, you could quickly hop on your board and ollie over the entire three stair structure if you're used to quick set-ups. Additionally, all throughout the park, there's a whole bunch of three sets and a low chain that you could practice doing flip tricks over.
S 5 and N 5 Street in Williamsburg Brooklyn, right across the Brooklyn side of the Williamsburg Bridge. Take the J, M or Z to Marcy Avenue, skate west until you see the Bridge and the spot is directly across the [4 lane] street which turns into the bridge itself.
You will not get kicked out of here.
