Perhaps one of the few ledge spots that you could potentially skate hassle free in Hudson County, this is the place to go if you're looking to learn a new grind or slide trick. The central ledge is a fifty foot long, foot and a half high bench with ends on each side. It is perfectly smooth marble that should require minimal waxing. Further down, there are ledges identical to this one, just not as long. Additionally, throughout the entire plaza you can find stairs of all sizes, from tens to threes, all varying in set-ups. The ground here is very smooth and perfect for a flatground session.

Across the street is a long, mellow, square flatrail that goes down a hill. It can only be skated frontside for regular footed people and backside for goofy footed ones.
Journal Square, on Kennedy Boulevard in Westside Jersey City. Take the Path Train to Journal Square and walk outside.
This is typically a night spot, not because of the kick out possibility, but because of it being directly outside of a major public transportation center. There are usually a lot of people walking around and sitting on the ledges during the day, so it's best to avoid that time. Unless, of course, you are going in the middle of winter, when it's too cold for sane people to be chilling out here.
