I’m gonna even take this time to take a swipe right now at all corporate involvement in skateboarding, whether it be Echo OWNING ZooYork(a hip-hop rhinoceros?), Nike BUYING it’s way in to the skateboard market, Adidas FOLLOWING suit, Element having A STORE IN TIMES SQUARE!!!, IPath SELLING to Timberland(you seen the new Redman video? He’s wearing IPath’s, no shit.) and even D.C. with all the toolbox’s who wear that garbage logo like its FUBU. Sorry, but your money is going to non-skating/never even picked up a skateboard C.E.O’s and their shareholders, who are probably already filthy rich and simply keep the machine properly greased and the guise propped up to make it look like these are still “core” brands and are down for skateboarders and skateboarding. Tony Mag doesnt own Osiris anymore. He was embezzling all the money and got caught about 2 years ago. The China factory took it over because they owed something like 20 million dollars. Mag never would give back the money so they fired him and put in the Vans guy to run the company.
